The day started with some hustling around the house. Traci knew some disaster leading up to her wedding, that’s for sure. With one bridesmaid’s dress catching on fire the week before, and another sick the day of, one can imagine the stress around her day! But Traci was beautiful–a beautiful bride on her special day.

When I laid my eyes on Traci’s dress, I was instantly a fan. And then I realized it was a Maggie Sotterro…just like my own. No wonder! :)

Knowing Traci appreciates detail images, I was overjoyed to capture these, literally wrapping the window curtain around the jewlery to give a soft, romantic look, with the window naturally lighting the scene–a personal fave.

After the getting ready, we headed over the glorious St. Mary’s Basilica for a beautiful ceremony.

After a short break, some romantic portraits ensued at the beautiful Monterra at Westworld in Scottsdale.

This may be my all time favorite ring shot to this date. Love the warm light in the background!!

I love this next one…Traci was fading after romance portraits, so I ran and grabbed her a coke–her fix of choice!!

A super fun party ensued…

Complete with a Michael Jackson-dancing priest! So fun!

And of course we couldn’t have gone through the night without one picture lit by the low sun…love it.

Congrats to Traci and Ken on a the start of a wonderful marriage!!!!
