I first heard of Angelic Magazine via instagram when some friends were showing content they had shot for the magazine. A Christian editorial on fashion & music??! I knew, one day, I’d love to be apart. When the magazine posted a casting call to fill the slot of a few photographers from the three different states (AZ, CA, & NV) where the magazine is available, I jumped on board. A few weeks later, I got an e-mail saying I’d been chosen to shoot the March fashion editorial! So, so cool, and such an honor to get to represent the talent and faith in AZ. The coolest part? The submission was also paired with an interview (screenshot below). Make sure you check out the full issue to read it and see the full feature! Such an honor and joy to share a piece of my story and passion for both photography and faith in Christ.
When it came to the details and planning of the shoot, I paired up with raving talent Alex Evjen of AVE Styles (really, I’ve been dreaming of working with her for awhile, and when I needed a stylist, she was the first I wanted to contact!) to pull together three spring looks. We wanted natural and organic, and I loved what Alex pulled from Frances Boutique to bring the vision to life. Lindsay Peterson was our stunning model (we’re connected through church–how cool is that??!), and very, very talented Arielle Rondeau and Chelsea Resto brought their talent on-location for hair & makeup. Such a special project to be apart of, and such a fun team to have along!
